Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa (level)
- 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 stick butter
- milk
- water
Method
- In a large saucepan, mix the first 4 ingredients.
- Add approximately 3 tablespoons of water (just enough to make mixture wet).
- Over medium heat, add butter and 2 cups of milk.
- As butter starts to melt, turn heat to low and constantly stir.
- Add more milk as needed to make mixture creamy or to desired thickness for gravy.
- Serve over biscuits.
