Ingredients

  • 2 c. heavy cream
  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 4 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 6 oz. unsweetened chocolate
  • 4 oz. white chocolate
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate

Method

  • Heat cream, butter and sugar in a 2 1/2-quart saucepan over medium heat.
  • Stir to dissolve sugar.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Place the semi-sweet, unsweetened and white chocolate in a steel bowl.
  • Pour the boiling cream mixture over chocolates.
  • Let stand 5 minutes. Stir until smooth.
  • Can put in 1 to 2 teaspoons vanilla, pecans or orange rind (optional).
  • Refrigerate.
  • Cut into bite-size pieces.
