Ingredients
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 8 oz. miniature marshmallows
- 3 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. pecans, broken into pieces
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Use a heavy, large saucepan and bring the sugar and milk to a slow rolling boil, stirring constantly to keep milk from scorching.
- Boil 8 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add marshmallows, chocolate chips and butter.
- Stir until melted and blended well.
- Add pecans and vanilla.
- Spread on a large, ungreased pan and when cool, cut into squares.
