Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 (5 1/3 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 2 c. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces or peanut butter pieces
- 1 (7 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Lightly butter a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- Combine sugar, butter and milk in 2-quart glass measure.
- Cook on High for 11 to 12 minutes or until a small amount dropped in cold water forms a soft ball (234° on microproof candy thermometer).
- Stir in chocolate or peanut butter pieces and Marshmallow Creme until mixture is thoroughly blended.
- Stir in nuts and vanilla.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Refrigerate until firm.
- Cut into squares.
- Delicious.
