Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 (5 1/3 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 2 c. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces or peanut butter pieces
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Lightly butter a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  • Combine sugar, butter and milk in 2-quart glass measure.
  • Cook on High for 11 to 12 minutes or until a small amount dropped in cold water forms a soft ball (234° on microproof candy thermometer).
  • Stir in chocolate or peanut butter pieces and Marshmallow Creme until mixture is thoroughly blended.
  • Stir in nuts and vanilla.
  • Pour into prepared pan.
  • Refrigerate until firm.
  • Cut into squares.
  • Delicious.
