Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. mini chocolate chips
Method
- Cream the butter and shortening.
- Add sugar.
- Add eggs singly, beating after each one.
- Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
- Add flour mixture alternately with milk.
- Add flavoring.
- Add chocolate chips and nuts.
- Mix well with a wooden spoon.
- Pour into greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.
- Put in cold oven and bake at 325° for 90 minutes or until done.
