Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. Parkay soft margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. Baker's semi-sweet real chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Mix flour, salt and baking soda in a small bowl.
  • Beat Parkay and sugar in a large bowl with mixer until fluffy.
  • Blend in eggs and vanilla.
  • Add flour mixture; beat until blended.
  • Stir in chips.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cool 2 minutes.
  • Remove from cookie sheets.
  • Cool on wire racks.
  • Makes 5 dozen.
