Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  • In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy.
  • Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture.
  • Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375° for 9 to 11 minutes.
