Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine or 2 sticks, softened
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Heat oven to 375°.
  • Beat margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla in large bowl. Mix with mixer until fluffy.
  • Mix in flour, baking soda and salt; stir in chips and nuts.
  • Drop by teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from cookie sheet.
  • Makes 6 dozen.
