Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 onions
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • Leffe Beer 25 cl.
  • 7 ounces Maroilles cheese
  • sour cream 50 cl.

Method

  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Peel and slice the onions.
  • In a pan, melt the butter, then add the sliced onions and saute until golden brown.
  • Remove the onions from the pan, add the chicken and brown.
  • Add the onions and beer.
  • Cover and cook for 40 minutes on low heat.
  • Cut Maroilles into small cubes.
  • Mix the cream and Maroilles and add to the chicken.
  • Continue cooking on low heat. Let the Maroilles melt.
  • Accompany with french fries.
