Ingredients

  • 1/2 c seasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c chopped fresh parsley or
  • 1 tbsp parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1-1/4 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Spaghetti or barbecue sauce, warmed, if desired

Method

  • Mix bread crumbs, parsley, salt and garlic.
  • Dip chicken strips into egg.
  • Coat with bread crumb mixture. Melt butter in 10 inch skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken in butter 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the center is no longer pink.
