Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 can sweet peas
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 Tbsp. corn meal
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Boil 1 whole chicken until tender and can be pulled off the bone easily.
  • Boil carrots and potatoes until tender.
  • Saute onion in 1 tablespoon butter.
  • Mix corn meal and flour together with 1/4 cup water.
  • Set all ingredients aside.
