Ingredients

  • 1 chicken
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes, diced
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2/3 stick butter
  • 1 (16 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. vermicelli

Method

  • Season chicken and boil about 45 minutes; remove chicken and debone.
  • Add vermicelli to chicken broth and boil until tender. Drain noodles; do not rinse them.
  • While noodles are boiling, saute in butter the onion and bell pepper.
  • Mix onion and bell pepper into noodles.
  • Add soups and Ro-Tel tomatoes; mix well. Add deboned chicken and Cheez Whiz; mix well.
  • Pour into Pyrex dish.
  • Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
