Ingredients

  • 8 oz. box vermicelli
  • 6 to 7 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 block medium Cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • black pepper to taste

Method

  • Boil vermicelli noodles and chicken together.
  • Meanwhile, grate cheese and chop onion.
  • Saute onion and stick of margarine in saucepan.
  • Pour margarine and onion in casserole dish.
  • Drain noodles and chicken.
  • Pour noodles into dish.
  • Dice or tear chicken and put in dish.
  • Pour in 1 can of cream of mushroom soup.
  • Stir. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  • Sprinkle black pepper to taste. Cover.
  • Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
