- 1 (3 to 4 lb.) chicken, skin removed
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 small can mushrooms
- 1 small bell pepper
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small jar pimento
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 (8 oz.) boxes spaghetti
- 1/2 lb. grated Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Put chicken in Dutch oven; add salt and cover with water. Cook until tender; cool and remove from bone.
- Add ingredients through salt and pepper; simmer 20 minutes.
- Add boxes of cut spaghetti and cook until tender.
- Remove from heat and add 1/2 of grated Mozzarella cheese; mix very lightly.
- Add more water, if needed.
- Top with remaining cheese and bake at 350° until cheese melts.
