Ingredients

  • 1 (3 to 4 lb.) chicken, skin removed
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 small bell pepper
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 small jar pimento
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 (8 oz.) boxes spaghetti
  • 1/2 lb. grated Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Put chicken in Dutch oven; add salt and cover with water. Cook until tender; cool and remove from bone.
  • Add ingredients through salt and pepper; simmer 20 minutes.
  • Add boxes of cut spaghetti and cook until tender.
  • Remove from heat and add 1/2 of grated Mozzarella cheese; mix very lightly.
  • Add more water, if needed.
  • Top with remaining cheese and bake at 350° until cheese melts.
