Ingredients

  • 1 large chicken (hen is best), cooked and cut up
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 2 c. diced celery
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 lb. spaghetti, cooked
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Cook vegetables in chicken broth 10 minutes; add remaining ingredients except cheese, mixing well.
  • Place in large flat baking dish.
  • Cover with cheese.
  • Bake at 350° until bubbly. Serves 12 or more. Freezes well.
  • Leftover turkey can be used.
