- 1 large chicken (hen is best), cooked and cut up
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. diced celery
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 lb. spaghetti, cooked
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- Cook vegetables in chicken broth 10 minutes; add remaining ingredients except cheese, mixing well.
- Place in large flat baking dish.
- Cover with cheese.
- Bake at 350° until bubbly. Serves 12 or more. Freezes well.
- Leftover turkey can be used.
