Ingredients
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. flour
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 3 c. cubed, cooked chicken
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. peas and carrots
- 1/4 c. chopped pimentos
- 1 deep dish pastry shell
Method
- Put chopped onion in melted butter. Blend in flour and 1 teaspoon salt. Add broth.
- Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add remaining ingredients.
- Pour into pastry shell (large).
- Bake for 30 minutes at 450°. Freezes well too.
