Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cans broth
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 stick margarine

Method

  • Boil chicken; save 2 cans broth.
  • Debone chicken.
  • Mix together 2 cans of broth with soup.
  • Pour into bottom of casserole dish.
  • Add chicken, pulled apart into bite size bits.
  • Mix together the flour, salt, pepper, buttermilk and margarine; pour over top of chicken in casserole.
  • (This will form its own crust and top.)
  • Bake at 425° for 30 minutes.
