Ingredients
- 1 cut-up chicken
- 2 Tbsp. paprika
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tomato
- 2 or 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 pt. sour cream
Method
- Saute onion in 2 tablespoons fat until clear; add salt and paprika.
- Add chicken and brown slightly.
- Pour enough boiling water to cover chicken; add tomato and green pepper.
- Cook at a low boil 2 to 3 hours.
- Mix flour and sour cream in a bowl until smooth and thick (add more flour if necessary).
- Pour into chicken gravy a few minutes more.
