Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can milk
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can mushroom pieces
  • 3/4 c. rice
  • cut up chicken

Method

  • Blend soup and milk; reserve 1/2 cup of the mixture.
  • Stir together remaining soup mixture, mushrooms (with liquid), rice and 1/2 the onion soup mix.
  • Pour into ungreased 11 1/2 x 7 1/2-inch baking dish.
  • Arrange chicken pieces on rice mixture.
  • Pour reserved soup mixture over chicken.
  • Sprinkle on the remaining onion soup mix.
  • Cover and bake 1 hour at 350°.
  • Uncover and bake 15 more minutes.
