Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 lb. sliced lengthwise bacon
  • 1/2 c. wine (red or white)
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • seasonings (mixed)

Method

  • Slice boneless chicken breasts in 1/2-inch strips.
  • Take the wooden sticks and weave alternating chicken and bacon strips until each stick is full.
  • Mix wine, soy and Worcestershire and place in a container large enough for the filled sticks to lay flat. Season with your favorite mixed seasonings.
  • If necessary to pile chicken sticks on top of each other, make sure you turn the filled sticks into the marinade so they all get at least 1/2 hour of marination.
  • Cook over low to medium heated grill or oven at 350° for 1/2 to 3/4 hour.
  • Dip or baste chicken with marinade frequently to prevent drying of meat.
  • Do not overcook!
