- whole chicken
- bay leaf
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- parsley flakes or basil
- 3 to 4 bouillon cubes (chicken)
- 3 to 4 c. water
- 1 can carrots
- 1 onion
- 2 stalks celery
- mushrooms
- 1 c. noodles
- 1 c. frozen peas
Method
- Cook chicken in water with bay leaf until tender.
- Remove from broth.
- Allow broth to cool and harden on top.
- Take all fat off once it is solid.
