Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, thawed
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced (I use canned)
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. Half & Half (I use milk)
Method
- Brown chicken in butter.
- Add mushrooms and cook (if fresh mushrooms for five minutes).
- Remove chicken and mushrooms.
- Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
- Pour in broth and half & half.
- Cook until thick.
- Add mushrooms and chicken.
- Cover and simmer 25 to 30 minutes.
- I used my slow cooker.
