Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, thawed
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced (I use canned)
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp. Half & Half (I use milk)

Method

  • Brown chicken in butter.
  • Add mushrooms and cook (if fresh mushrooms for five minutes).
  • Remove chicken and mushrooms.
  • Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
  • Pour in broth and half & half.
  • Cook until thick.
  • Add mushrooms and chicken.
  • Cover and simmer 25 to 30 minutes.
  • I used my slow cooker.
