Ingredients
- 2 c. diced, cooked chicken
- 1 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
- 1 Tbsp. diced onion
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper
- 8 French rolls
Method
- Mix all ingredients together well.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Scoop out center of French rolls.
- Fill rolls with chicken mixture.
- Wrap in foil, shaping each roll as a firecracker.
- Cook on coals about 20 minutes, turning often.
