Ingredients
- 6 chicken breasts
- 2 large green peppers, sliced
- 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 c. Sauterne wine
- 1 stick oleomargarine
Method
- Sprinkle chicken breasts with oil and bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan for 45 minutes at 350°; drain.
- Melt 1 stick oleomargarine and simmer peppers and mushrooms until slightly soft, about 10 minutes.
- Put mushrooms and peppers on chicken breasts. Pour the margarine and juice over chicken breasts.
- Pour the Sauterne over all and cover tightly with foil if not serving immediately.
- Can be reheated at 250° for 30 minutes.
