Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 chicken breasts
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 large skillet corn bread
  • 2 Tbsp. sage
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can peas and carrots
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Method

  • Boil chicken; save juice.
  • Break up chicken.
  • Mix all ingredients except soups and milk.
  • Heat soups and milk.
  • Put chicken on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Then pour warm soups and milk on chicken.
  • Mix rest of ingredients with chicken broth, then pour on top.
  • Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
