Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 chicken breasts
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) cream of celery soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) herb seasoned stuffing mix
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 stick butter or oleo
  • 1 c. milk

Method

  • Cook chicken breast in water.
  • Add desired seasoning.
  • Reserve 2 cups broth.
  • Cool breast enough to handle, discard bone and skin.
  • Tear chicken in pieces and place in buttered casserole (1 stick).
  • Combine soups and milk, pour over chicken.
  • Melt 3/4 stick of butter in broth and add to stuffing mix, blending lightly.
  • Spread over top of casserole.
  • Bake 40 minutes at 350°.
