Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 chicken breasts, boned and skinned
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. sweet basil
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • hot oil
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cans Italian tomatoes, stewed
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. sweet basil
  • salt and pepper
  • cooked spaghetti for 4 to 6
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

Method

  • Combine flour, the first 1/4 teaspoon of sweet basil, garlic salt and the 1/2 teaspoon of pepper.
  • Dredge pieces of chicken in flour mixture.
  • Brown on both sides in hot oil.
