Ingredients

  • 3 boned, skinned and split chicken breasts
  • poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 6 slices boiled ham
  • 6 slices Swiss or Gruyere cheese
  • parsley to taste
  • thyme to taste
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Rub chicken breasts with poultry seasoning.
  • Saute in butter and cook, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
  • Remove to a buttered casserole dish.
  • Cover with the ham and a slice of cheese on each piece of chicken, parsley and thyme to taste.
  • Pour heavy cream over all and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.
  • Then broil for 5 minutes until light brown.
  • Serve with Wild Rice Sausage Bake.
