Ingredients
- 3 boned, skinned and split chicken breasts
- poultry seasoning
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 6 slices boiled ham
- 6 slices Swiss or Gruyere cheese
- parsley to taste
- thyme to taste
- grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- Rub chicken breasts with poultry seasoning.
- Saute in butter and cook, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
- Remove to a buttered casserole dish.
- Cover with the ham and a slice of cheese on each piece of chicken, parsley and thyme to taste.
- Pour heavy cream over all and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.
- Then broil for 5 minutes until light brown.
- Serve with Wild Rice Sausage Bake.
