Ingredients

  • 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) chicken
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 envelope dehydrated onion soup mix
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 cans cream of celery soup (undiluted)

Method

  • Cut chicken into serving pieces.
  • Spray a 6 x 12-inch casserole dish with Pam.
  • Put rice in dish.
  • Sprinkle dry onion soup over rice; add water.
  • Place chicken in single layer, skin side up, on top of rice.
  • Spoon celery soup, saving 1/2 can for heating over. Bake, uncovered, at 350°.
