Ingredients
- 1 (3 to 4 lb.) stewing hen
- 4 to 5 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
Method
- Boil hen until done, approximately 1 1/2 hours; remove chicken from broth mixture and remove skin and bones from chicken.
- Place chicken meat back into broth mixture; cook and additional 15 minutes.
