Ingredients

  • 2 cans chick peas, reserve the liquid from one can
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mrs. Dash onion & herb
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mrs. Dash garlic & herb
  • 1/2 teaspoon Badia garlic & parsley

Method

  • Place the chick peas, reserved liquid, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and cumin in the blender and mix until creamy.
  • Pour hummus into a medium bowl, and drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with paprika, and Mrs. Dash seasonings.
  • Chill for an hour or two; serve with pita bread or tortilla chips.
