- 2 cans chick peas, reserve the liquid from one can
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Mrs. Dash onion & herb
- 1/2 teaspoon Mrs. Dash garlic & herb
- 1/2 teaspoon Badia garlic & parsley
Method
- Place the chick peas, reserved liquid, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and cumin in the blender and mix until creamy.
- Pour hummus into a medium bowl, and drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with paprika, and Mrs. Dash seasonings.
- Chill for an hour or two; serve with pita bread or tortilla chips.
