Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 (1 lb.) box light brown sugar
- 3 medium eggs
- 1/2 tsp. butternut flavoring
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
- 1/2 c. coconut flakes
Method
- Melt butter in heavy saucepan over low heat and add sugar. Remove from heat.
- Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well with large wooden spoon.
- Add flour, vanilla, butternut flavoring, coconut flakes and pecans.
- Mix with wooden spoon.
- Pour in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
- Cool and cut into squares.
