Ingredients
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. cream
- 4 eggs
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Method
- Blend butter, sugar, flour and half of nutmeg.
- After blending well, add eggs.
- Mix well.
- Pour in milk.
- Stir in remaining nutmeg.
- Stir well.
- Warm mixture to lukewarm.
- Pour in pie crust. Bake in oven at 300° to 350° until done.
- Pie is done when knife inserted in center comes out clean.
