Ingredients

  • 2 large apples, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 1 c. fresh pitted tart cherries, halved
  • 1/2 c. dried cranberries
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Method

  • In a large bowl, toss apples and lemon juice.
  • Add celery, cherries, cranberries and almonds.
  • In small bowl, whisk mayo, sour cream, honey and salt until well blended.
  • Pour over salad and toss to coat.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
  • Yield:
  • 6 to 8 servings.
