Ingredients
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 c. Bisquick
- 1/3 c. milk
- 3/4 c. cherry preserves
- 1 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cut cream cheese and margarine into Bisquick until crumbly. Blend in 1/3 cup milk.
- Knead on floured surface.
- On wax paper, roll dough into a 12 x 8-inch rectangle.
- Turn onto greased baking sheet; remove paper.
- Spread preserves down center of dough.
- Make 2 1/2-inch cuts at 1-inch intervals on long sides.
- Fold strips over filling.
- Bake at 425° for 15 minutes or until brown.
