Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Method

  • 1. In small bowl combine 1st 4 ingredients. press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Pour pie filling into crust.
  • 2. Beat last 4 ingredients until smooth. Carefully spread around outside edges of pie laving 3 inch circle exposed in the center.
  • 3. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
