Ingredients

  • 1 large angel food cake, cut in half horizontally
  • 1 c. orange juice plus 4 Tbsp.
  • 3 c. sour cream
  • 6 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. grated orange rind

Method

  • Pour 1/2 cup orange juice over each side of the cake on the outside, piercing with a fork so all juice will be absorbed.
  • Set aside.
  • Mix sour cream, powdered sugar and rest of orange juice together.
  • Blend and spread less than 1/2 of it over the bottom layer.
  • Put top layer on and frost the whole cake.
  • Sprinkle with orange rind and refrigerate 24 hours before cutting.
