Ingredients
- 1 large angel food cake, cut in half horizontally
- 1 c. orange juice plus 4 Tbsp.
- 3 c. sour cream
- 6 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. grated orange rind
Method
- Pour 1/2 cup orange juice over each side of the cake on the outside, piercing with a fork so all juice will be absorbed.
- Set aside.
- Mix sour cream, powdered sugar and rest of orange juice together.
- Blend and spread less than 1/2 of it over the bottom layer.
- Put top layer on and frost the whole cake.
- Sprinkle with orange rind and refrigerate 24 hours before cutting.
