Ingredients

  • 2 c. sliced, sweet cherries
  • 2 c. halved, fresh strawberries
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 (1 3/4 oz.) box powdered fruit pectin
  • 5 c. sugar

Method

  • Combine prepared fruit and lemon juice in large pan.
  • Mix pectin with fruit and place over high heat.
  • Bring to full boil, stirring constantly.
  • At once, stir in sugar.
  • Bring to a full, rolling boil and boil hard one minute, stirring constantly.
  • Skim. Ladle into clean, hot jars, filling to within one-half inch of top. Seal.
  • Makes six half-pints.
