Ingredients
- 2 c. sliced, sweet cherries
- 2 c. halved, fresh strawberries
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 (1 3/4 oz.) box powdered fruit pectin
- 5 c. sugar
Method
- Combine prepared fruit and lemon juice in large pan.
- Mix pectin with fruit and place over high heat.
- Bring to full boil, stirring constantly.
- At once, stir in sugar.
- Bring to a full, rolling boil and boil hard one minute, stirring constantly.
- Skim. Ladle into clean, hot jars, filling to within one-half inch of top. Seal.
- Makes six half-pints.
