Ingredients

  • whole potatoes (with skins)
  • 8 oz. Cracker Barrel Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 shakes nutmeg

Method

  • Boil potatoes with skins until almost done. Rinse and let cool.
  • Peel skins and grate them into a large bowl. In saucepan, add grated cheese, milk, whipping cream, dry mustard, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Heat until cheese is melted. Pour mixture over potatoes and mix. Add a few butter pats and paprika.
  • Let cool. Refrigerate 24 hours.
  • Cook approximately 1 hour at 300° or until hot all through.
