Ingredients

  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce
  • 13 cups Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Basil, Chopped
  • 1 pinch Italian Blend Seasoning
  • 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 1 pound Store Bought Tortellini, Whatever Flavor You Prefer
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/4 cups Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter

Method

  • In a medium bowl, combine marinara, cream cheese, basil, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
  • Season boiling water with salt.
  • Add tortellini and cook for 2 minutes; drain.
  • Add tortellini to marinara mixture.
  • Pour into greased 8x8 baking dish.
  • Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Dot with butter.
  • Bake uncovered 35 minutes.
  • Note: I like to put this casserole under the broiler for a minute or two just to get the casserole a little more brown on top.
