Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 beaten egg yolk
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2/3 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 c. diced, peeled, fresh pears
  • 1/2 c. fudge topping
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/3 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Stir together first 2 ingredients and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  • Cut in butter until crumbly; stir in egg yolk.
  • Press evenly onto bottom of a 9-inch spring-form pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 18 minutes; cool.
  • Reduce oven temperature to 325°.
