Ingredients
- 9-inch pie shell, uncooked
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 c. fine ground bread crumbs
- 1/2 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Method
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Brown ground beef and add remaining ingredients.
- Spread in uncooked pastry shell.
- Spread cheese topping over meat filling.
- Bake about 30 minutes, until cheese is browned on top and serve in wedges with sauce.
