Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 can refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls
- 4 Mozzarella cheese slices
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3/4 c. water
Method
- Brown ground beef in skillet.
- Drain off fat.
- Add onions, salt, pepper, 1/2 tsp.
- Italian seasoning and 1 can tomato paste. Blend well.
- Unroll and separate dough into 8 triangles.
- Place in ungreased 9-inch pie pan, pressing pieces together to form crust. Turn meat mixture into unbaked crust and top with cheese slices. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Serve with sauce made from combined remaining ingredients.
