Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 1 can refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls
  • 4 Mozzarella cheese slices
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. water

Method

  • Brown ground beef in skillet.
  • Drain off fat.
  • Add onions, salt, pepper, 1/2 tsp.
  • Italian seasoning and 1 can tomato paste. Blend well.
  • Unroll and separate dough into 8 triangles.
  • Place in ungreased 9-inch pie pan, pressing pieces together to form crust. Turn meat mixture into unbaked crust and top with cheese slices. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Serve with sauce made from combined remaining ingredients.
