Ingredients
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 pkg. pineapple or lemon cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. water
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
Method
- Cream together 1 1/2 packages of cream cheese and sugar until fluffy.
- Gradually add 1 egg and vanilla.
- Beat well.
- Spread mixture evenly in greased and lightly floured 13 x 9-inch pan. Blend cake mix with remaining cream cheese, eggs and water.
- Beat 4 minutes and spread over cheese mixture.
- Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.
- Cut and serve with strawberries on top.
