Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) crescent rolls
  • 2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • powdered sugar

Method

  • Grease 9 x 19-inch pan.
  • Press 1 package of crescent rolls in bottom of pan.
  • Mix cream cheese, egg yolk (save egg white), vanilla, lemon juice and granulated sugar.
  • Spread evenly onto crescent roll.
  • Spread second package of crescent roll on top of cream cheese.
  • Beat egg white with fork until light and fluffy and brush evenly on top.
  • Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
