Ingredients
- 2 c. crushed pineapple
- juice of 1 lemon (2 Tbsp.)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. plain gelatin
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 3/4 c. grated American or mild Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 pt. whipped cream
Method
- Heat pineapple.
- Add lemon juice and sugar.
- Stir to dissolve sugar.
- Soak gelatin in cold water for 10 minutes.
- Add to hot mixture.
- Put in icebox; when cool and when it begins to set, add cheese and whipped cream and then chill.
