Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- powdered sugar
Method
- Mix yeast, water and 1 teaspoon sugar.
- Let stand for 10 minutes.
- Add egg.
- Cut margarine into flour and salt.
- Mix well. Add yeast mixture.
- Divide into 2 balls.
- Roll each into an 8 x 10-inch rectangle.
