Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 2 (8 oz.) bars cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 large egg, separated
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Method

  • Preheat oven to temperature on crescent roll can.
  • Spray a 9x 13 inch baking pan lightly with cooking spray.
  • Mix together cream cheese, 3/4 c. sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk until smooth.
  • Line the bottom of the baking pan with 1 can of the crescent rolls pressing together the seams.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the rolls.
  • Top with the remaining can of crescent rolls.
  • Baste the top with the egg white.
  • Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 c. sugar. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
  • Allow to cool completely and cut into squares.
