Ingredients
- 1/2 c. + 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2/3 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. milk
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Method
- Cream butter and brown sugar.
- Add flour and nuts and mix.
- Set aside two cups of the mixture for topping.
- Press remainder in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
- Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Blend sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
- Add eggs, milk, lemon juice and vanilla.
- Beat well.
- Spread over bottom crust; sprinkle with reserved two cups of topping.
- Return to oven and bake for 25 minutes more.
- Cool, then chill and cut into 48 pieces.
