Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk, well beaten
- 1 egg white
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolk.
- Stir in flour.
- Form into balls and dip into slightly beaten egg white.
- Roll in chopped nuts.
- Bake at 350° for 8 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Press centers and return to oven for 10 minutes.
- When cool, fill centers with jam.
